Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF)

Verbree International decided to use Adobe Portable Document Format (or PDF for short) for all of its external publications. This is for several reasons:

1. Most importantly, it is FREE and is available for almost every kind of computer.
2. It prevents material from being easily changed and distributed without VI's consent. This is especially important for proposals and budgets.
3. The formatting, styles, and layout does not change everytime you open the document as has been known to happen with many word processing editors. This allows VI's documents to maintain a professional appearance and to be printed consistently no matter how often the document is opened or on which computer.
