Project Description
This request for proposal (RFP) will provide grants to fund 2-year assistantships to Burkina Faso nationals who are enrolled in a masters or doctoral program in agronomy, animal science, or a related field. The goal of this program is to:
- assist in training students to be professionals in the areas of rural agriculture or livestock extension
- conduct field research to evaluate new techniques and/or varieties in rural areas
- educate rural farmers or herdsmen in basic principles and/or proven techniques pertaining to agriculture or livestock
